Islamic State (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) claimed responsibility for two explosions in the Afghan capital of Kabul the day before. It is reported in Twitter Shamshad News TV channel.
“IS has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s bombings in Kabul,” the statement said.
The explosions in the capital became known the day before, on December 10. According to official figures, two people were killed and four were injured. Both explosions occurred at about 15:25 local time (13:55 Moscow time) in the Dashte-Barchi area, where the Shiite Hazaras (representatives of the country’s ethnic and religious minority) live predominantly.
A few days earlier, on December 7, an explosion occurred in the Joy Shir area of Kabul. Information about the dead and injured was not reported, the cause of the incident was a mine laid by the road.
