Dane Olesen, 2018 Ryder Cup winner, is accused of groping a woman’s breasts and urinating on a man’s seat during an Atlantic crossing two years ago
Alcohol and sleeping pills. Then not even a memory, not even vague. This was also justified by the Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen, winner of five rounds of the European Tour and member of the European team that won the Ryder Cup in 2018, who appeared today in court in London to answer the allegations of sexual harassment, assault and drunkenness during the British Airways flight that in 2019 brought him back to Europe, to London precisely, from the United States, where he had taken part in a stage of the golf world championship in Tennessee. The 31-year-old is accused of “grabbing and feeling the breast” of a woman and assaulting another and then “urinating” in the seat of a first-class passenger while he was “drunk and high”.

Olesen denied any responsibility, claiming that he had no recollection of the incident as he had taken alcohol and sleeping pills. The golfer was arrested after arriving at Heathrow Airport. The trial is taking place at Aldersgate House Nightingale Court in the English capital.
