The second day of Formula E testing at the Spanish track in Valencia ended with a Mercedes in front of everyone. However, it was not the new reigning world champion who set the best time of the day, Nyck De Vries, but his teammate Stoffel Vandoorne. The former McLaren driver in F1 stopped the clock with a time of 1: 26.045, seven tenths faster than Antonio Felix Da Costa did in the morning, when the Portuguese from Techetaah was the fastest. Behind Vandoorne were placed Edoardo Mortara and Jake Dennis, separated by only 44 and 55 thousandths respectively. Fourth place for the second Mercedes of De Vries.
17th square for ours Antonio Giovinazzi, which this weekend will be engaged again in Formula 1 with Alfa Romeo. The native of Martina Franca was three tenths behind box mate Sergio Sette Camara in the afternoon session. In the morning, however, the # 99 was the fastest of the two bearers of the Dragon Penske team. Also during the first phase of work on this day, the drivers completed a race simulation, in which the possible entry on the track of the Safety Car was also tested, an extremely frequent event in the electric series.
