The MP Motorsport team will present itself in Jeddah, the penultimate round of the 2021 Formula 2 season, with a completely new line up. In addition to Clement Novalak, announced as a new entry a few weeks ago and confirmed as a starter driver also for 2022, the Dutch team will also field Jack Doohan in Saudi Arabia.
The 2021 vice-champion of Formula 3 will thus have the opportunity to make a first taste of the new category and for a strange twist of fate he will have as his teammate that Novalak who joined him in Trident and with whom he dueled hard in Sochi in occasion of the last race of the season.
Doohan will take the place vacated by Richard Verschoor. The Dutch driver had to surrender to the lack of budget and announced through his social profiles that he could not take part in the last two rounds of the championship in Jeddah and Abu Dhabi.
