The brand Bugatti arouses strong emotions in all car enthusiasts. It does so on different levels: for design and glamor towards the new followers, for determination towards those who adore the EB110 of the nineties, for elegance and style when it comes to cars that date back to before the Second World War.
He did not fail to get noticed even the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, special car (based on the Chiron) that costs 18 million dollars. The car is inspired by the 1930s Type 57 SC Atlantic, and features a fully custom carbon fiber bodywork and a familiar W16 engine. A pre-production model of the hypercar appeared in London, outside The Londoner Hotel: and its mere presence was enough to make a simple ‘delivery’ spectacular.
There are no sequins or presenters, but they are unnecessary details when the design catches you. In a video published by the TFJJ Youtube channel, dedicated to the special delivery, the car arrives crammed into a van and is taken out with great care and delicacy. Subsequently, La Voiture Noire it is parked inside a transparent display case, just outside The Londoner Hotel, transforming it into what is probably the most expensive Christmas decoration in the world.
Not a few users on the popular social network have pointed out that the brake calipers rotate together with the tires, which is unusual. In fact, it is assumed that the car is not complete, but only for exhibitions, and that it used a simple electric motor to allow it to maneuver for parking. Conversely, the Chiron next to her, also visible in the video, is a fully fledged and fully functional car.
Today the manufacturer is under the control of Rimac, but compared to the previous era Volkswagen will not change the search for the special event to ‘make people talk’, to advertise a unique style. Although sometimes it happens unintentionally.
