According to him, a whole link of miners was completely killed from site No. 7, where he worked.
On November 27, the governor of the Kemerovo region, Sergei Tsivilev, said that after the explosion in the Listvyazhnaya mine in Kuzbass, the rescuers brought only four miners to the surface. The rest, he said, got out of the mine either on their own or with the help of their colleagues.
On the same day, Acting Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Chupriyan specified that the mine rescuers died due to a sharp increase in the concentration of carbon monoxide.
On the morning of November 25, smoke started to appear at the Listvyazhnaya mine. At least 63 more people were hospitalized with food poisoning or injuries.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of a person by negligence”), as well as a criminal case on the fact of negligence of employees of the Rostekhnadzor department. All five accused in the case of the state of emergency were arrested.
According to the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Dmitry Demeshin, before the tragedy, workers at the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Kemerovo Region complained about the high level of methane.
