(Reuters) – Nestlé said on Wednesday that it expects to nearly double its e-commerce sales to 25% of the group’s total by 2025, increasing investments in marketing and technology.
“We plan to move (e-commerce) sales from around 13% in 2020 to 25% by 2025,” said Bernard Meunier, head of Nestlé’s strategic business and marketing and sales units, at his investor meeting.
The goal will be achieved by increasing investment in digital marketing to 70% in 2025, from 47% in 2020, he added.
