The twentieth edition of the Murcia Region International Puppet Theater Festival, Titeremurcia, faces its last weekend with nine varied shows. Among them, a tribute to the four from Liverpool with ‘Varieté’, a Periplo Marionetas ‘show’ that can be enjoyed in different locations in Murcia during the weekend.
The art of Chinese shadow theater reaches different parts of the Region –Corvera (Murcia), Murcia and Los Alcázares– with Valeria Guglietti and ‘Mano a mano’. A nebula of thoughts and fantasies where everything is transformed awakening feelings, deep emotions and even delusional situations.
The Zero in Conduct Company, a specialist in physical theater, dance and puppetry, settles in the Teatro Circo de Murcia to show two shows. On the one hand, ‘Eh man hé, the mechanics of the soul’, for youth and adult audiences, on the other, ‘Trashhh !!!’, Award for the Best Street Show at the Haifa International Festival (Israel). A family work made with objects found in the garbage that will also pass through the House of Culture of Águilas.
Traveling through the past, the Carmen Theater remembers, in the Cultural Center of Monteagudo (Murcia), medieval culture with ‘The path of water: The footprint of the Wolf King’. On the other hand, the Vico de Jumilla Theater and the Beniaján Auditorium (Murcia) will also go back in time with the exhibition of ‘La Celestina’, a version of the classic by Bambalina Teatre Practicable. The play, in which great puppets and actors coexist on stage, has been awarded four 2018 Valencian Performing Arts Awards. Another classic story, ‘Hamelin’, will pass through Titeremurcia. A montage of Xip Xap with puppets and actors that will be enjoyed at the Auditorium of Guadalupe (Murcia).

Count stars
In Cabezo de Torres y Santomera, ‘How many stars can you count?’ Will be staged, a show by the Headless Puppets company that is made up of table puppets, actors and music and seeks to introduce children to the world of astronomy . On the other hand, to awaken empathy in children, ‘Game of chairs’ is born, a show by Cal Teatre that will be at the Villa de Molina Theater, in Molina de Segura.
