In the past few hours, new gameplay clips from the early stages of the single-player campaign have been shown for Halo Infinite and there are new and interesting features revealed for all fans, with the addition of a few weapons, new settings and even some curious enemies that may have returned.
The gameplay shows the Master Chief assaulting a ship from the gods faction Banished, in our country also better known as the Atriox exiles, and there are interesting little gems that we noticed during the video that we leave you on the cover.
First, the developers themselves explained to colleagues about Game Informer that the attack on the structure can also be carried out in quite different ways, probably also thanks to the aid of the grapple (which can be upgraded) and which should allow a certain verticality to clashes and the ability to move very quickly across multiple map levels.
In addition to this, a new energy weapon similar to the canonical Carabina Covenant precision and therefore should guarantee the possibility of intercepting enemies over medium to long distances, with considerable firepower.
Also, at about 2:49 minutes, a particular type of enemy is visible that fans of Halo Reach they might recognize. It is most likely the Explorers, a race of aliens that had inexplicably disappeared after the main series prequel and that at least until now was most likely extinct in the Battle on Reach.
Obviously we cannot 100% confirm the presence of these enemies, but the model and agility of these aliens are very reminiscent of these particular adversaries, very snappy in the movements and also capable in precision shots. They were then often armed with two small frontal energy shields for close range attacks exactly like those on video, so this addition shows a possible very interesting expansion to the campaign lore level.
That said, the video still shows some ad sequences high adrenaline with the Master Chief who slaughters alien forces with brutal melee and ranged attacks with multiple weapons, including the Bulldog, the semi-automatic shotgun we saw in the beta.
Halo Infinte is expected for on December 8, 2021 and by now he has focused on it countless eyes and attentions in particular from long-time fans, since we are talking about the chapter that should redeem a series that with the fifth game has seen a small setback. As a result, we can’t wait to be able to personally get our hands on the product that promises to be a simply epic journey.
