The Arab states that normalized relations with Israel in 2020 must reverse their decisions, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Sunday (24) during a speech in Tehran.
“Some governments have unfortunately committed mistakes, big mistakes and sins in normalizing (their relations) with the usurping and oppressive Zionist regime,” Khamenei said.
“This is an act against Islamic unity. They must go back and make up for this big mistake,” added the country’s top Islamic clergy leader in a message on the occasion of the festivities marking the anniversary of the birth of the prophet Muhammad.
United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco normalized relations with Israel in 2020, during the government of then US President Donald Trump.
