As part of the 25th anniversary of the series, ATLUS And Banso they announced Person VS, a card game (real, not virtual) featuring characters from the Person.
Person VS is designed for two players and each game will last at least fifteen minutes. Each player will be able to summon the Personae and ask for help from the partner characters to bring the opponent’s HP to zero. Some features from the video game series will be included, such as mergers between the Personae and the bonus round “1 more”.
Each Persona card will have a permanent ability and two manual skills that it can use to attack the opponent. Partner cards will instead be divided into two categories: support, which provides a one-time-only upgrade, and reaction, to counter the abilities of the opposing Persona.
However, Persona VS will be based solely on the most recent and popular titles, Person 3, 4 and 5. The three cards that can be used by the players depict the three protagonists of the aforementioned titles, each with a different ending. There will be three decks of 40 cards based on each of the games. Reservations are open in Japan on the online shop of Banso, the game will cost around 3000 yen (around 23 euros). The release is planned for this December and we hope to see him soon also in Italy.
