Jamal Musiyala, a player for the German football team Bayern Munich, expressed his happiness after he became the second youngest scorer in the history of the German national team, after he scored for the team against North Macedonia.
Mosyala scored the fourth goal for the German team in the match that ended with a 4-0 victory over North Macedonia on Monday, a victory that decided the German team’s qualification for the World Cup finals.
“I feel really good, to score a goal for the German national team is an honour,” Musyala said in a video clip published by the German Football Association today, Tuesday. At the age of 18 years and 227 days, Musiala became the second youngest scorer for the German national team in its history and the youngest scorer for the national team in more than a century.
Marius Heller, who scored for Germany at the age of 17 years and 241 days in 1910, remains the youngest goalscorer in the national team’s history.
