According to the document, on October 11, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel held telephone talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Two trilateral conversations made it possible to take stock of the measures that were approved at the Paris summit in the “Normandy format” back in December 2019, the communiqué says. It is noted that the heads of state also agreed to work on the implementation of the conclusions of the Paris summit and to fulfill this goal agreed to hold a meeting at the ministerial level between France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine.
