The possible future of Xbox, according to Jeff Grubb.
The latest acquisition of the PlayStation Studios, who welcomed the talented guys from Bluepoint Games: it seems, however, that Microsoft will not stand by and that it has some very interesting acquisitions in store for the Xbox Game Studios.
The journalist talks about it Jeff Grubb who, during Giant Bomb’s GrubbSnax format, said that Microsoft will soon announce that three studios will join the Xbox family: Crystal Dynamics, IO Interactive and Avalanche.
All three of these studios are working, more or less officially, on their own titles Xbox and PC exclusives: Crystal Dynamics collaborates in the development of the reboot of Perfect Dark, Avalanche has the exclusivity on its hands Contraband and IO Interactive, or so many rumors say, would be developing one new IP just for Xbox consoles.
These would therefore be acquisitions, on paper, not too surprising. According to Grubb, Microsoft is considering whether these studies “They work well with Xbox. If things go well, they will be acquired”.
Jeff Grubb believes Crystal Dynamics (Perfect Dark), IO Interactive (Project Dragon), and Avalanche (Contraband) are all being? Tried out? to see if they work well with Xbox. If it goes smoothly, they may be acquired.

While claims of a “takeover war” between Sony and Microsoft are often denied, both companies appear to be well-determined to expand their study pool as much as possible, to give users, or at least this we hope, a generation to remember.
