The alleged achiever of the ‘Koldo case’, Víctor de Aldama, stated this Wednesday in an interview in the Cope Chain that he “knows” the existence of a complaint in the Prosecutor’s Office in which there is “a list with Mrs. [Begoña] Gómez with accounts abroad with more than 6 million dollars, Mrs. María Jesús Montero is also on the list, I think the wife of the former president, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and some other characters.”
However, that complaint has already been filed by the Public Ministry due to lack of credibility, tax sources tell Europa Press. These same sources assure that the matter was quickly filed and that it was similar to the false complaints made by former judge Fernando Presencia, expelled from the race and convicted of favoring friends.
Aldama has stated that it was on January 13 when said complaint was registered with the Public Ministry, and that he was able to see it thanks to “an individual” who, like “many businessmen” empathize with him. “Well, this is one of them who, due to circumstances, asked me to have a coffee to get to know me, and he dropped the bomb on me,” he explained.
Asked about the credibility of this accusation, he responded that it is given by the fact that “a complaint of this caliber” has been presented to the Prosecutor’s Office, since the person in question “is putting a lot at stake,” which leads him to understand “that he is not bluffing” and that “he is not lying.” However, a few days after being presented, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has archived the matter as it lacks credibility.
