As reported by the department headed by Ana Redondo, the minor was murdered this Thursday, November 28, allegedly by his mother’s partner. Furthermore, he pointed out that there were no previous complaints of gender violence against the alleged aggressor.
With the confirmation of this case, there are now nine minors murdered in 2024, the year, along with 2015, with the most victims in the entire historical series. In total, there are 62 children murdered by vicarious violence since 2013, when this data began to be collected.
In this event there is another injured minor, the twin brother of the deceased who turned two years old this Wednesday, who has been transferred to the San Agustín Hospital in Linares (Jaén) and who also has injuries, although initially no fear for your lifeas stated by the National Police.
Sources close to the investigation have indicated that they became aware of the event around 2:30 p.m. when 061 was alerted that there had been an apparently deceased minor violently in a house located at number 58 Áurea Galindo Street, in Linares.
