The final decision on the venues for the tournament will be made by the European Basketball Federation (FIBA) in May 2025. As explained by the Community of Madrid in an official statement, The matches would be held at the WiZink Center in the capital during the first fortnight of September 2029.
The venue on Goya Street, the former Sports Palace, has experience when it comes to hosting international sporting events of this magnitude, having already hosted the Basketball World Cup in 2014, or the 2015 Euroleague Final Four, in the one in which Real Madrid won the title.
