Spain is sliding down the same slope as the rest towards the abyss of anti-politics. But as in the fable of the frog and the boiling water, we are not fully aware of the danger because the temperature rises little by little, it numbs you degree by degree until you are dead. Fascism did not arrive overnight. It went from being an anomaly to the normality accepted by the majority over the years due to the failure of traditional politics. It just happened in Romania like in so many other countries and it will end up happening in ours. The two-party system has once again become mired in the corruption of yesteryear, dragging Justice into its political war and plunging the entire State into discredit, while far-right populism is becoming strong on the networks and media. It seems like we’re back in 2011. But the answer is not more but less democracy. The answer is an anthill of façades and a horizon of hoaxes.
Mazón’s PP hands over 62 million euros in contracts for the restoration of Valencia to companies linked to the corrupt plots of his party and no one is crying out loud anymore. More of the same, enjoy what you voted for. The mud also splashes on the PSOE, involved in the Ábalos case, in which President Sánchez should explain why he included him on the electoral list after removing him from the ministry where he smelled more rotten than in Denmark. The PP takes advantage of the occasion for its strategy of harassment and overthrow of the Government, clinging to the statement of the achiever of the plot, Víctor de Aldama, who implicated without evidence the socialist leadership, including the president, to get out of prison thanks to an agreement with the prosecutor’s office. The prosecutor who asked for his freedom was an advisor to Aznar’s PP for years. Chance? I don’t believe it.
