Espanyol midfielder José Gragera has undergone successful surgery on his injury to the first toe of his left foot, as reported by the club, and will be out for about three months.
The Asturian footballer’s condition, known as Hallux rigidus, limits mobility and causes osteoarthritis in the metatarsophalangeal joint of the first toe of his left foot, something that affects him on the field of play.
