A South Florida man has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder following a deadly altercation on the first hole of a Sandhill Crane golf course. Golf Club of West Palm Beach (Florida).
Junior Boucher, 36, was arrested by Palm Beach Gardens police after receiving a call from a witness who saw the American hit sharply at a man with a golf club. And, after that, drown him in a water hazard in the field.
According to the police report that has been brought to light, TMZ reports that Boucher got into a fight with Brian Hiltebritel, 65, who shouted for help. “he’s trying to kill me.”
Police said the golfer was beaten to death with his own clubs. “This appears to be a random act of violence in which Boucher used the victim’s golf clubs as weapons and brutally attacked him,” said Palm Beach Gardens Police Chief Dominick Pape.
After the fatal attack, Boucher emerged from the water where he had drowned the victim, undressed and tried to flee, but in the end The agents managed to arrest him.
Hiltebritel was pronounced dead on the golf course. Junior Boucher justified the murder by claiming that it was “victim of witchcraft”, to try not to be found guilty in a future trial.
