«It has been a tremendous tragedy in Valencia and in my town that has been one of the most affected, Chiva. The Valencian bullfighter also wanted to send through ABC “all my love to all those people who are suffering so much and I am going to fight not only this festival in Madrid, but also in Albacete, and when the time comes to talk about the Valencia festival, well Of course we will also be at that festival, we will be at those festivals and showing solidarity with all this tragedy.
Enrique Ponce also spoke about his feelings in his Mexican farewell: “It’s going very well, I’m very happy with how I’m feeling, how people are receiving me, and I think I’ve caught a few bulls in these first bullfights.” And he referred to his time Aguascalientes: “With the first bull there have been very good moments, bullfighting slowly, very calmly, with great pleasure, putting our soul into a very fair bull of strength, but we have made it walk slowly and calmly.” Also to San Luis Potosi: «A very good afternoon, where the two bulls were sensational, I am feeling very well.
