A paraglider dies after suffering a fall in a town in Almería

A paraglider died this Sunday afternoon in Pechina (Almería) after suffering a fall, according to the 112 Emergency Coordination Center in a note.

This emergency service received, at 3:45 p.m., an alert call requesting help for a person who had suffered a fall while paragliding, in the vicinity of the AL-3100 highway, in an area of mountain.

Immediately, the coordinating center has informed the Poniente Consortium Firefighters, the Air Traffic Control Center, the Coordination and Rescue Center, the Civil Guard, the Local Police and the Health Emergency Center 061 of the events.

Sources from the armed institute have confirmed the death of the injured person to 112. No further information has been released regarding the circumstances under which this event occurred.
