The Solidarity Network against the Occupation of Palestine (RESCOP) has called demonstrations throughout Spain between November 26 and December 1 against the genocide in Gaza. Among the demands is the cessation of relations with Israel, as well as the end of arms trade by the Government and companies with the country.
More than 44,000 people have been killed in Gaza since a year ago. In addition, two million people have had to be displaced and 70% of the infrastructure has been destroyed. In the face of this genocide, RESCOP calls for demonstrations every month in different parts of Spain to demand that the genocide in Palestine ends. The organization focuses on carrying out a boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign against the state of Israel.
RESCOP, which has mobilized thousands of people throughout the country, and the world of culture joined last October in a letter addressed to the President of the GovernmentPedro Sánchez, to request an arms embargo on Israel, since “it is a concrete and urgent action to put an end to the excessive violence and contribute to a just solution.”
