The appointment is part of a restructuring of the Valencian government after the catastrophe
The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, has signed the Lieutenant General Gan Pampols for the recovery of Valencia after the DANA that has devastated a large part of the province and caused more than 200 deaths.
The signing is included in a government restructuring Valencia that Mazón is carrying out after the catastrophe. This Monday the president of the Generalitat already announced the replacement of Nuria Montes by Marián Cano as the new Minister of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
Another of the changes, which was announced on Sunday, is the one that affects the vice president and Minister of Social Services, Susana Camarero, who assumes the functions of spokesperson, replacing Ruth Merino.
The management of the reconstruction is going to be the key to the remainder of the mandate in the Generalitat, which is why the national leadership of the PP asked Mazón for an “exemplary” management in this sense.
Feijóo has stressed that both the Consell de Mazón and the Government of Pedro Sánchez must “evaluate the tragedy from criticism and self-criticism”, as well as “compensate for what happened with a reconstruction process that allows people to live normally again.” .
