The members of the Notarial College of Castilla y León have re-elected Leopoldo Martínez de Salinas Alonso as dean for the next four years, in what will be his second term at the head of the institution.
Martínez de Salinas is a native of Valladolid, He has been a notary since 1985, and throughout his career he has performed this function in San Feliu de Llobregat, Teruel, Sabadell, Cornellá de Llobregat, San Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona and, since 2018, in his hometown.
The dean will be accompanied on the board of directors by Mariano Muñiz Sánchez, a notary from Salamanca, as vice dean; Álvaro José La Chica González, notary of El Burgo de Osma, as first censor; Ana Belén Mallada García, notary of Tordesillas, as second censor; Julio Fernández-Bravo Francés, notary of León, as third censor; Mª Blanca Bachiller Garzo, notary of Cuéllar, as fourth censor; and Mª Elena García Delgado, notary of Aranda de Duero, as fifth censor. José Gascuñana Villaseñor, notary of Toro, will serve as treasurer; and Mª Ángeles Anciones Ferreras, notary of Laguna de Duero, will assume the secretariat of the board of directors.

In Castilla y León, 155 notaries practice and serve 2,390,321 people. From November 2023 to October 2024, 334,595 public deeds have been authorized, which have been included in their corresponding electronic protocols.
