Reinosa will start this Tuesday the 19th the 21st edition of the Mountain Cultural Week which, on this occasion, will feature the participation of renowned climbers such as Sebastián Álvaro, Pablo Ruiz, Dalia Ojeda and Roberto Muñoz.
Ojeda will be in charge of opening the series, whose sessions will take place in the Teatro Principal starting at 7:30 p.m. The canary will intervene with the talk titled ‘A life of dreams’, in which he will share with the public his passion for climbing that has led him to travel the world chaining high-grade sporting routes.
FEAR
In Reinosa, in addition, they will offer a course on Wednesday the 20th, in the morning, on how to manage fear in this sporting discipline. The appointment will be at the municipal climbing wall. One of the most popular names in the world of mountains, Sebastián Álvaro, journalist, adventurer and writer – director of the TVE program ‘Al filo de lo impossible’ -, will participate in the event on the same Wednesday with the presentation ‘A life on the edge’.
Already on Thursday the 21st, the climber and alpinist from Reinosa will close the cycle, Pablo Ruiz Seco, who together with his partner Roberto Muñoz, will talk about their latest project: the ascent to the Eternal Flame in the Torres del Trango in Pakistan. Ruiz, a member of the National Mountaineering Team, has climbed in places such as the Himalayas, Patagonia, Yosemite or in the Alps, where he works as a guide and met Muñoz.
On the other hand, at the closing there will be a raffle for mountain equipment and two season passes for Alto Campoo. This event is organized by the Tres Mares La Milana Club, with the sponsorship of the City Council, as stated in a press release.
