Planet Earth hides natural wonders that not even modern science has yet been able to decipher. An example of this is The Eyea mysterious island that rotates in a lake in Argentina.
It is an uninhabited rotating circular floating island located within a circular lake. a little larger in the Paraná Deltain the province of Buenos Aires.
Satellite images record the existence of the island since at least 2003.
The island is unique in that it has an almost perfectly circular shape. like the island constantly rotates on its own axis Due to the flow of the river beneath it, a cut occurs around its outer edge, eroding the island into its circular shape, similar to ice disks.
The island has approximately 118 meters in diameter, although it will reduce over time as erosion occurs. It is still not known how or when the island was initially formed.
The Eye gets its name because it looks like an eye when viewed from above: as the island rotates within the crescent-shaped lake that surrounds it, the eye seems to move.
The Eye was discovered by the Argentine filmmaker Sergio Neuspiller. In 2016, Neuspiller and hydraulic engineer Ricardo Petroni began crowdfunding an expedition to the island in hopes of conducting scuba diving, drone data collection, and soil and plant analysis, but they were unable to raise the necessary money.
