“Defense in Spain is key to the development and enhancer of the economy,” explains Ivorra Ruiz. Given this situation, the Defense Industry Strategy and Innovation area was born, which arises to “lead and coordinate the transformation so that Spain has a better international positioning and increases its global competitiveness,” underlines the general director of this department.
