The high-speed service of Renfe, Ouigo and Iryio between Madrid and Valencia It will be available again starting next Thursday after this line has been cut off for 16 days due to the damage caused to the infrastructure by DANA. This was announced by the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, through Twitter.
This Monday, Renfe put it up for sale again, from 2:00 p.m.the high-speed tickets for its services to Valencia for travel starting Thursday. The service will resume normally and in its usual service.
The Adif and Ministry teams have been working these last two weeks in 24-hour shifts and without interruption (except for weather reasons) to fix the 1.2 kilometers of tracks that disappeared due to the rains on October 29, mainly in the Chiva and Torrent tunnels.
At least 11,400 people have been affected every day due to the interruption of service on Renfe, to which another 5,700 daily passengers from Iryo and 4,000 from Ouigo are added, so in these 14 days around 340,000 places They have not been able to be put into circulation, not counting the additional seats that are placed on weekends and holidays.
On the other hand, it is planned that The A-7 highway bypass will be operational on Wednesday and this Monday the one on the N-330.
