Valencian businessman Vicente Tarancón, founder of Luanvi, disappeared by DANA, found dead

The troops working in the rescue and reconstruction of the towns affected by DANA in Valencia find the businessman Vicente Tarancón, head of the Luanvi sports firm, dead, as confirmed by company sources.

The businessman was on Tuesday the 29th returning from a working lunch with other businessmen at the La Orza de Ángel restaurant in Chiva, where José Luis Marín, owner of the Mas Camarena schools, was also present; Miguel Bordeos, from Bosque Verde and Deliplus, and the former general director of EDEM, Antonio Noblejas. There has been no information on the situation of any of them since they were lost, around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, in one of the municipalities most affected by the floods of water in the ravine.

Sources from Luanvi have told EFE that they do not currently know under what circumstances Tarancón’s body has been recovered. The businessmen, as explained by their families, disappeared around 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, when they were returning from Chiva by car.
