The son of the legendary LeBron James, Bronny James, has been in the news this week because the Los Angeles Lakers decided to send him to the NBA development league. From now on, the 20-year-old will combine some games with the first team, but will mainly play with the franchise’s affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, in the NBA G-League.
This Saturday their debut took place with a 110-96 victory against the Salt Lake City Stars. Bronny James was part of the starting five and was 2 of 9 from the field, including 0 of 4 on three-pointers.
In general terms, it had little prominence. On the other hand, he scored six points, grabbed three rebounds, distributed four assists, made two steals and suffered five turnovers.
To date, Bronny had only played 14 minutes in five games with the Lakers, in which he only scored four points. Of course, both he and his father made history at the start of the NBA by becoming the first two players in history with this relationship to coincide on a court together and with the colors of the same team.
