In ancient times, and especially in the upper classes, women had to wear corsets, a garment to stylize and shape the figure feminine in which the desired effect was achieved: large chest and little waist.
Fortunately, nowadays they are no longer used beyond some special occasions and only by those who are willing to have a bad time – since it is not comfortable at all. What has not changed is the desire to have a narrow waist since it is usually related to good habits. However, it is not necessary to use these unhealthy creations but rather to know how to carry out a training routine where this body area is worked on.
With four exercises, 15 repetitions of each of them and 30 seconds of rest after each round (there are 3 rounds), you can reduce your waist size. And if not, tell the personal trainers Gemelas Pin, who are the ones who have designed this effective training. You will only need a mat and a dumbbell with a weight that you can hold. Go for it!
Exercise 1. Dumbbell rotations
Standing, with a dumbbell held in both hands, carry it from left to right, making a short stop in the center. Remember to rotate your torso every time you go from one side to the other. Do 15 repetitions
Exercise 2. Around the world
With the dumbbell in your hands, carry it in a circle in the air that passes over your head and down to your hips. Do 15 repetitions changing order.
Exercise 3. Lateral inclinations
Standing, hold the dumbbell in one hand at shoulder height and do small shrugs from side to side. In the next series, grab the dumbbell with the other hand.
Exercise 4. Diagonal leg raises
On the floor, resting on your back, with your arms stretched out to the sides and your legs up, lower your legs semi-flexed to the diagonal 15 times and in the next series we change sides.
