Huesca, Tarragona and Cáceres This Tuesday they will be the only provinces with a warning for precipitation and storms, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET). Specifically, Huesca (Aragón) and Cáceres (Extremadura) will have a rain warning and Tarragona (Catalonia)due to rains and storms. In addition, maximum temperatures will remain below 20ºC on the Peninsula.
In general terms, AEMET foresees that the west of the peninsula will be exposed to the Atlantic circulation and a front leaving precipitation in the south of Galicia and west of Andalusia, Castilla y León and Extremadura. In fact, the prediction includes probabilities that the rains in the extreme north of this last autonomous community will become persistent and locally strong. Likewise, it is not ruled out that weak showers may fall in other parts of the northwest quadrant and around the Iberian Peninsula.
On the other hand, the instability situation is expected to persist in the northeast of the peninsula, with showers and storms that will impact Catalonia, the Pyrenees and Castellón. At the same time, they could also fall locally strongly in the Aragonese Pyrenees, coasts and southern Catalonia, as well as in Ampurdán at the end of the day. Likewise, there could also be occasional rain in other parts of Navarra and northern Aragon and the Balearic Islands. Meanwhile, there will be stable weather in the Canary Islands with a predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies.
Regarding temperatures, The maximums will increase in the interior of the eastern peninsula, Galicia and the Canary Islandsthey will decrease in the northern plateau and there will be no major changes in the rest. In turn, the minimums will rise in the northwest quadrant of the peninsula, the mountains of eastern Andalusia and the east of the Canary Islands. In the rest, declines will predominate.
Likewise, the state agency indicates that there are possibilities of weak frosts being recorded on the peaks of the Pyrenees and Sierra Nevada. The provincial capitals that will register the highest values will be Santa Cruz de Tenerife with 26ºC; Palma and Bilbao with 25ºC; and San Sebastián, Girona, Murcia, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Valencia with 24ºC.
For the rest, AEMET indicates that light winds in generalwith northern and eastern components in the Mediterranean area, with more intense easterly in the Strait. In the rest, there will be a southern component or variables in the rest, more intense on the coasts of Galicia and the eastern Cantabrian coast where it will roll. At the same time, moderate trade winds will blow in the Canary Islands.
