All of them appeared to be in good health and no transfers to the hospital were required.
Yesterday, Maritime Rescue rescued two canoes in the south of the island of El Hierro in which a total of 146 people migrantsincluding several you drink and young children.
The first boat was located 7 miles (11.2 km) southeast of the island with 75 sub-Saharan people, including 3 women and 1 minorand was escorted by the salvamar ‘Adhara’ to the port of La Restinga.
The other cayuco has been located 11 miles (17.7 km) south of La Restinga with 71 people also sub-Saharan. Among them were 6 women and 6 minors and they were accompanied to port by the sea guard ‘Talía’.
Once on the ground, they received health care from SUC and Primary Care personnel, in addition to Red Cross volunteers, all of whom presented apparent good health and no transfers were required to the Nuestra Señora de los Reyes Hospital.
