One of those that has been held in Toledo has been the one convened by the Community Board in front of the Fuensalida Palace, among whose participants were several members of the autonomous Executive, such as its spokesperson councilor, Esther Padilla, who has conveyed “solidarity and the affection” of the regional Government with the victims of the catastrophe that has devastated municipalities in the Valencian Community and Castilla-La Mancha.
“The Government of Castilla-La Mancha is going to put all its efforts into ensuring that the reconstruction after the DANA damage is as quick as possible and that people’s lives can return to their daily lives,” said Padilla, who has defended the collaboration that has existed after the torrential rains in the affected places. “We have been working very intensely with all the emergency forces such as the Security Forces and Corps, Infocam, Civil Protection, the Army itself, which has also collaborated in the cleaning and rescue tasks,” he detailed.

Gutiérrez has stressed that in the face of weather conditions that have been “especially cruel and damaging”, “We can only be united in pain, which is also reparation”.
In this sense, the Secretary of Socialist Organization has indicated that It is time to “be at the level of the people, their pain and also their needs”.
