The intrepid Red Bull team has done it again. The feat on this occasion has taken us to Switzerland where Peter Salmann has broken three world records with an innovative wingsuit flight.
The pilot of Austrian origin has managed to travel 12.5 km in a total flight time of almost six minutes from the Swiss mountain of Jugfrau. This innovative system almost doubles the efficiency of traditional slides, allowing unprecedented control and evolution.
The 12 and a half kilometers were covered in 5 minutes and 56 seconds, without propulsion with a difference in altitude of 3,402 meters. This is a record developed thanks to the collaboration of Salzmann and the Red Bull engineering team.
