The City Council of the city of Valencia, where the diversion of the Turia river bed has prevented much greater damage, has reported that drinking water is guaranteed in the city and that it meets public health parameters.
Although it is still early for self-criticism and evaluation, since there are still hundreds of missing people in several autonomous communities, the two mass notices that were sent to citizens at 8:10 p.m. and 7:10 a.m. and the premiere of the Es-Alert Civil Protection system in Valencia has not avoided the catastrophe.
