The former president and Republican candidate for the White House, donald trumprejected this Monday the criticism of his Democratic rival, Kamala Harriswho He accused him of “invoking” Hitler, and has responded by claiming that he is not a Nazi.
“I am not a Nazi, I am the opposite of a Nazi,” Trump declared at a rally in Georgia, one of the key states for the elections on November 5. The presidential hopeful has criticized Harris for her use of the word: “The latest statement from Kamala and her campaign is that anyone who doesn’t vote for her is a Nazi.”
“I had a very good father, a tough guy, who always told me: ‘Never use the word Nazi. Never use that word.’ And then he said: ‘Never use the word Hitler. Don’t use that word,'” he said, by emphasizing that He is the opposite of a Nazi.
Trump made these statements a few days after Harris argued that it is “deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous that Donald Trump “invoke Adolf Hitler, the man responsible for the deaths of six million Jews and hundreds of thousands of Americans.”
For his part, Trump then considered that The Democratic candidate “realizes she is losing” in the race for the White House and that is why “she is now increasing her rhetoric more and more”: “She has gone so far as to call me Hitler and anything else she can think of. She is a threat to democracy and is not fit to be president of the United States, and their surveys indicate it!” he added.
