The Civil Guard of Cantabria has arrested, in two different actions, two men, after being caught red-handed when one stole from inside a hair salon in Noja and another the cash register of a hotel establishment in Beranga.
The events occurred in the early morning hours of October 14 and 15 and the detainees were a 27-year-old man from Santoña and another 23-year-old resident of Laredo, Benemérita reported in a press release.
HAIRDRESSER, NOJA
In the case of the theft in Noja, a Civil Guard patrol observed a motorcycle with the license plate covered near a hair salon, later locating a man inside the premises while he was filling a backpack with different products.
BAR, BERANGA
In Beranga, another patrol observed a man leaving the hotel establishment carrying a cash register. Outside the premises, a sledgehammer was found with which the glass of the establishment’s door was fractured.
After the arrest of both people, the agents proceeded to recover the effects they intended to steal, including the cash register.
