He Betis Youth Division of Honor will face the Kairat Almaty of Kazakhstan in the second round of the UEFA Youth League. The Kazakh team beat Academia Rebaja of Moldova 2-6 in the tie. The green and white will host Kairat in the first leg on October 23 at the sports city while they will travel to Kazakhstan on November 6 to decide the fate of this match.
This is the first participation of the Betis youth team in the highest continental competition of the category. The Verdiblancos achieved the pass by qualifying last season for the Champions Cup finalin which they lost to Atlético de Madrid.
The Betis youth team also knows that in the next round, if they beat the Kazakh team, they will play against the winner of the match between Sassuolo Italian and whoever wins at the crossing between the Latvian Daugavpils and the Cliftonville of Northern Ireland.
Dani Fragoso’s team is second in Group IV of the Honor Division, only surpassed by Granada. After six games, the Heliopolitans have added four wins and two draws.
