Simon Fieschi, one of the employees of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo who survived the massacre committed in 2015 by supporters of Al Qaeda, has died this past Thursday after enduring the aftermath of the shooting against the media’s editorial office for nine years.
The deceased was one of the first employees to be shot and his movement was affected for several years due to a gunshot wound that left him seriously injured.
The Police has opened an investigation into the causes of his death, finally announced by his lawyer and reported by the French media. Fieschi worked as responsible for the website of the middle at the time of the attack.
He shooting was settled with death of a dozen people and led to a wave of international demonstrations in favor of the medium, threatened with violence for years by Islamic extremism for having published numerous cartoons considered offensive against the Muslim world.
