The USA has now given Israel a deadline of 30 days to noticeably improve the situation in the Palestinian territory. Otherwise there will be drastic consequences, as a letter from the US State Department shows.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin wrote in a letter to the government Benjamin Netanyahu Stresses that recipients of U.S. military assistance may not arbitrarily deny or obstruct the provision of humanitarian assistance. “However, we would like the changes to take place immediately, not in 30 days,” explained Foreign Office spokesman Matthew Miller.
