Toluca, Mexico.– Alleged students from the Normal de Tenería, in Tenancingo, stole 13 buses and kidnapped the same number of drivers early this Tuesday.
According to information from the National Chamber of Transportation, Passenger and Tourism of the Toluca Valley, the events occurred shortly before 4:00 a.m. at the Chalma and Santiago Tianguistenco terminals.
The Chamber reported that it is presumed that the students of the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río Normal Rural school, located in Tenería, Tenancingo, were responsible for the robbery and kidnappings, since according to the geolocation of the public transport units, these were entered to the facilities of that institution. It should be remembered that just this Monday, another group of alleged students from the Normal de Tenería broke into the facilities of the Integrated Educational Services of the State of Mexico (SEIEM), in Santa Cruz Atzcapotzaltongo, Toluca, and caused damage to offices and at least 17 automobiles.
There were no injuries, as the workers were not yet at the facilities.
That same day, the Tenería students stated in a statement that they have tried to meet twice with Magdaleno Reyes, general director of the SEIEM, to present their demands.
And they arrest the former director
Cenobio Fuentes, alias Che, former director of the Tenería Normal School, was arrested and is being investigated for his probable intervention in the cover-up in the murder of a student, a student at said school, recorded on July 12.
According to the investigations, the former manager, 43 years old, would have hidden information, as well as instruments of crime, from the Attorney General’s Office of Edomex, in order to hinder their work and promote the theft of justice from the likely involved. The former director was arrested in Zinacantepec and placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority inside the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center of Tenancingo, where his legal situation will be determined. The agency determined that on July 12, young Brayan was in the back of the Normal and was beaten by four of his classmates. Aided by other students, he was taken to a local hospital, where he arrived without vital signs. According to a witness, after the attack, former director Cenobio Fuentes met with those likely involved, who informed him what had happened and one of them gave him a wooden stick approximately 60 centimeters long, which had blood stains, the same which would have been used as an instrument of crime to injure the victim. “El Che” failed to notify the competent authority of the criminal act that was reported to him, with the purpose that those likely involved would evade their responsibility. On July 19, elements of the Mexican Prosecutor’s Office arrested Saúl Adán, a student at that school, for his probable intervention as co-author with control of the criminal act of qualified homicide, who was placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority inside the Penitentiary Center. and Social Reintegration of Tenancingo, where he was linked to proceedings and the precautionary measure of justified preventive detention was imposed.
