Ciudad Juárez.- The former Revenue Collector in Juárez, Laura Marín Franco, is the new director of the Municipal System for the Comprehensive Protection of Girls, Boys and Adolescents (Sipinna), Municipal sources confirmed. Marín replaces Luis Hazam Ortiz Enríquez, who held the position during the first period of the 2021-2024 municipal administration. Laura Mónica Marín Franco was a representative for Electoral District VII for Juárez and at the end of her term, in 2018, former governor Javier Corral Jurado appointed her head of the local Revenue Collection office on September 14 of that same year, in replacement of Sergio Nevárez. Marín later resigned from the Revenue Collection in March 2021 to run for a local council for the National Action Party (PAN), according to journalistic data. In Pérez Cuéllar’s last campaign, to repeat in the Municipal Presidency, Marín and other PAN members joined his project in a public event.
