Ciudad Juárez.- This Friday night, a 38-year-old man, identified as Martín Alejandro Nevárez, was murdered inside the room of a neighborhood located on Tomás Urbina and Pavorreal streets in the Granjas de Chapultepec neighborhood, agents from the Security Secretariat reported. Municipal Public Service (SSPM), who arrived as first responders.
At the scene, it was observed that the relatives arrived at the site and explained to the police that they received a call informing them that their relative had been shot and since he was not answering his cell phone, they moved from Anapra to the Granjas de neighborhood. Chapultepec.
Due to the police fence installed, the father and sister of the victim could not reach the room that the man was renting and they approached with a soldier, who gave them the name of the person attacked and confirmed that it was their loved one.
Both people fell to the floor in pain.
According to witnesses, armed men arrived at the neighborhood room that Martín Alejandro occupied and demanded that he sell them “something”, however, the man said he did not know what they were looking for, since he did not sell anything and without further ado they shot him in different parts of the body.
Out of fear, the neighbors did not come out, so they said they did not know if the people arrived by car outside the neighborhood.
Police and military are at the scene, while the crime scene is being processed.
This is the third intentional homicide of the day and the 32nd of the month of October, according to the journalistic follow-up of this crime based on data provided by the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office.
