Ciudad Juárez.- The Municipality will carry out a census of all the animal rescuers in the city, in order to support them in their work, which was approved yesterday by the City Council.
In addition, the creation of a new commission was ratified: Culture. This will be coordinated by Councilor Patricia Mendoza.
On the other hand, the call for the elections of the auxiliary authorities of Samalayuca and the towns of the Juárez Valley was approved.
The point of agreement for the creation of a registry of independent rescuers and protective associations was presented by the coordinating councilor of the Ecology and Civil Protection commission, Fernanda Ávalos Medina.
The councilor explained that this mechanism seeks, in addition to having order, to allow the identification of common problems that arise when carrying out the rescue and preservation of domestic animals.
Also to facilitate the procedures before the corresponding government agencies.
“It is essential to know the associations and independent rescuers, the location of their facilities, as well as the number of domestic animals that benefit through their service,” said Ávalos Medina.
In the case of the elections of the auxiliary authorities of the Municipality, they will be held on October 27, indicated the councilor in charge of the process, Antonio Domínguez Alderete.
He stated that starting this week the call will be announced to elect the sectional president of Samalayuca and the ejido commissioners of the town, as well as the police commissioners of El Sauzal, Jesús Carranza, Loma Blanca, San Agustín and Tres Jacales.
Likewise, the Town Council approved yesterday in an ordinary session the creation of an economic aid fund for representative sports groups and teams of the municipality.
The secretary of the City Council, Héctor Rafael Ortiz Orpinel, presented the topic that aims to financially help sports, academic, cultural and artistic groups that represent Juárez in the state, the interior of the country or abroad.
For this, it was recommended to have a monthly fund of 400 thousand pesos during the period from September 10, 2024 to September 9, 2027.
The fund will be assigned to the Education and Culture commissions, as well as to the Sports and Physical Culture commissions so that the councilors who make up them assign the resources according to the requests they have. (Araly Castañón)
