The court imposed a fine of 2.5 million rubles on the ex-chief of the State Administration of the Moscow Region in a bribery case.
The Solnechnogorsk Garrison Military Court handed down a verdict in a bribery case against the former head of the Main Directorate of Communications (GUS) of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Slyusar. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
“A fine of 2.5 million rubles has been imposed,” the verdict was announced in court. This decision was made to the official for a bribe with an electric scooter, a TV and a quadcopter from the management of the Perm Telta plant.
The ex-boss fully admitted his guilt. His accomplices, Telta CEO Alexey Vysokov and the company’s chief accountant Elena Grishina, were also fined the same amount. The prosecution insisted on sentencing all the accused to imprisonment.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee completed an investigation into the case of bribes in the Department of State Defense Procurement of the Russian Ministry of Defense. In this case, the general director of the Cheboksary Metalist plant, Sergei Chervyakov, is accused of giving bribes to military officials.
