In the USA, a man refused to evacuate during a hurricane and relied on God’s help
In Florida, USA, a one-legged man decided to survive the devastating Hurricane Milton in a boat. His story shares People.
Joseph Malinowski said he would not evacuate because he relied on God’s help. He refused an offer from authorities to remove him from the Florida city of Tampa before the disaster. “God told me to come here and buy a boat. I came here and bought a boat. He’s been telling me for the last two days that I’m doing the right thing. He supports me,” Malinowski explained.

Despite the concerns of state authorities, the man refused to even wear a life jacket. According to him, a boat is the safest place during a hurricane. The mayor of Tampa tried to move Malinowski, but he began to resist. He statedthat there is nothing of God in those who are trying to save him. Security conversations with Malinowski did not change his decision.
Earlier it was reported that in the United States, a man spent five hours wading through the rubble left after Hurricane Helen for his daughter’s wedding. In the dark, he had to wade through piles of garbage, walk knee-deep in water and even dodge the bucket of an excavator.
