Starting this Thursday, the 10th, interested parties can now register for the 3,511 vacancies made available by Mail for the state-owned national public competition. There are 3,099 secondary-level vacancies and 412 higher-level vacancies. Registration must be done via the website of the IBFC – Brazilian Institute of Training and Qualification.
The last time the state-owned company opened a public competition to fill vacancies at the company was 13 years ago, in 2011.

How much does it cost to sign up?
The registration fee for participants who wish to apply for mid-level positions is R$39.80, while for those who intend to apply for higher-level positions it is R$42.00.
What are the vacancies available in the competition?
For vacancies, one of the new features of the competition is that it allocates 30% of them to black (black and brown) and indigenous people. The amount is higher than that established by legislation (20%). Furthermore, 10% of places are reserved for people with disabilities.
The 3,099 mid-level opportunities are for the position of Post Office agent – postman, while the 412 higher-level vacancies are divided between the following specialties: lawyer, systems analyst, architect, archivist, social worker and engineer.

Salaries and benefits
The position of postal agent – postman, will have a starting salary of R$ 2,429, 26 with food/meal vouchers of approximately R$ 1,400.00 reaching a total monthly remuneration of approximately R$ 4,000.00.
For higher-level positions, the starting salary is R$6,872.48, with food/meal vouchers of approximately R$1,400.00 with a total remuneration of approximately R$8,000.00.
In both cases, the company offers the possibility of subscribing to a health plan and supplementary pension.
When will the tests be?
The tests will be administered on a Sunday, December 15, 2024, in all regions of Brazil, covering all states and the Federal District, and may cover up to 306 locations.
What will the tests be like?
For Post Office agent positions, the tests will be objective, eliminatory and classificatory in nature, with 50 questions. For those working as a Postal Service analyst, they will be objectives of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, plus a discursive test with an essay of up to 30 lines.
