The Investigative Committee opened a case due to the death of two people in a fire in a “house-ship” in Moscow
Investigators opened a case after a fire in the “ship house” on Bolshaya Tulskaya Street in Moscow. Lenta.ru was informed about this in the capital department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR).
The case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 109 (“Causing death by negligence to two or more persons”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
As clarified Telegram– channel “MK: breaking news”, the fire occurred due to a faulty heater. The owner of the apartment was often cold in recent days, so the nurse left the electrical appliance on at night.
Investigators continue to work at the scene. A number of examinations will be appointed in the near future, including fire-technical and forensic examinations.
The fire in the “house-ship” in Moscow began on the night of Thursday, October 10. Witnesses reported heavy flames coming from an apartment on the sixth floor. Later, two people were found in the house without signs of life.
